Equipment inspection & Repairs

24/7 OEMS Biomedical Engineering Technologists specialize in all aspects of equipment maintenance, from service level inspection and repair to user training and safety compliance.

Our technologists are factory-service trained to maintain and repair electrocardiograms, spirometers, automated/manual defibrillators, patient monitors, audiometers, sterilizers, ventilators, and training simulators. We utilize a full suite of top-of-the-line calibration equipment that is serviced regularly to ensure your safety-sensitive equipment is ready when you need it! Our members are experienced in all clinical/ambulatory modalities and certified through the Canadian Medical and Biomedical Engineering Society.

The services that we provide include on-site technical service inspections for:

• Defibrillators (manual or automated external defibrillators (AEDs))
• 12-lead ECG / spirometry
• Patient monitors (NIBP, SpO2, End-tidal CO2, temperature, invasive blood pressure, ECG)
• Resuscitators/inhalators/suction
• Ventilators
• Verification of CSA compliance, including inspection of outlets and infrastructure
• Detailed technical reporting and documentation
• OEM-level repairs, with non-refurbished parts
